1. 还；还是；仍然；依旧（adv.）

eg: I drunk a cup of water, but I’m still thirsty.

我喝了一杯水，但我还是渴。

2.（虽然…）还是；但；不过（adv.）

eg: She was so tired. Still, she finished her task on time.

她非常疲惫。但她还是准时完成了任务。

3.（加强比较级）还要，更（adv.）

4. 静止的；平静的；安静的；寂静的（adj.）
